Hopefully you are using photoshop. it’s the “t” on the left hand side. just click on it. then click on the layer and start typing.

I don’t know if you can really be “taught”. I basically taught myself. Just get a picture related to you quote… and a text box type yur quote…choose a font. and yur done. It’s all about experimenting.
Isn’t the best drawing but sometimes it’s more fun to have drawings rather than just words.
